Our Catering on Set is beyond good!

While most producers reach for the phone to call the DOP or scout locations, we make one call first, our hero: the catering company serving up incredible, homemade, organic, free-range food that's simply delicious. After years of producing for luxury brands across Europe, South Africa, and beyond, this has proven to be among the most quietly defining forces on any shoot day.
The caterer is less obvious. That's the point.
A great caterer isn't a luxury, it's a production decision.
The quality of what's on that breakfast table at 6:00 am tells the crew everything they need to know about how this production values them. Before a single frame is shot, before the director has called action, the crew has already formed an impression of how this day is going to go. That impression lives in the coffee, the food, and whether someone thought to get the vegetarian or vegan option right.
Energy is contagious on a set. A crew that feels looked after brings something different to their work than one that feels like an afterthought. You can't always see it but you feel it in the room, and eventually it shows up in the work.
The final image lives in a hundred decisions that never appear in the brief
Brief quality. Creative alignment. The right 1st AD.
And yes, a caterer who understands that food is morale, and morale is everything.
The productions I'm proudest of weren't just creatively ambitious.
They were sets where people genuinely wanted to be there.
Where the crew was sharp at 5:00 pm because someone had made sure they were fed and respected at 6:00 am.
That's not soft producing. That's the job.
